Hey everyone :D
First off, obesity runs in the family, along with diabetes. When I was younger I was a normal size tot. Then because of my pediatric seizures medz one of their side effects was over eating. Then at the age of 7 I was diagnosed with Diabetes. The took me off the meds at the age of 13 and that's when I decided I had to lose weight and get better. I beat type two diabetes due to the weight loss. But then I gained the weight back (but not diabetes) Then at 16 I weighed the most ever...225 :O. I was incredibly depressed. I joined my HS track team and lost 70 lbs!!! Yet college started and I'm back up to 180's-ish.
I switched my majors from Film...to Health/Nutrition. I wanted to help kids live a healthier lifestyle and hopefully help them live a longer life :3
I'm losing the weight for me. I don't ever want to be THIN...I want to be FIT and healthy. I enjoy jogging/running, yoga/pilates, kick boxing, cooking, DDR, video games, Star Craft and most of all helping. If I could make just one person's day by just holding a door open for them...then I've done well :D
