Reasons for reaching my goal:

1. I will be healthier. Obesity makes me at risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, stroke, liver and gallbladder disease, and much more.

2. My mother recently had 3 heart attacks and she's only in her 40's. If I don't get healthy now, I could have a heart attack at a very young age and die. I can already feel that being obese puts a lot of strain on my heart.

3. Working out just 5 minutes makes me feel like I ran a mile. I will have more energy to get out and do things and just live my life to the fullest.

4. I will be able to wear all of the pretty clothes I have always wanted to, but could never fit in. I can show more skin without feeling ashamed, and I will just look and feel better. I will have so much more confidence. I'm tired of people giving me dirty looks, pointing, and laughing at me every time I go into public.

5. I want to look good for my boyfriend. I want to be able to fit into a dress on our wedding day and I want to be a good example for our future children. Many children mimic their parents eating behavior and end up obese once they are in adulthood.

6. I will be happier.
