Previously in good health and fitness took a bad turn 9 yrs ago when I suffered an anaphylactic reaction to a pesticide at work and almost died. I worked in the corporate office of FedEx; who would have thought I'd be in danger but thats what happens when unlicensed people are hired to handle carcenogens. I Lived in a bubble for 6 yrs, a prisoner in my own home. After 6 yrs I was told I had reached "medical maximum improvement" and a venture may be good for me. Two days into a trip to Florida found me in the hospital, after 16days of trying to stabilize me, I was lifelighter back to Ohio because it was the safest way to get me out of Florida; I'm told I won't survive a third exposure. FedEx got on with big business and took away my life,livelihood & my childrens childhood. High dose Corticosteroid has taken its toll on a young 46 yr old body. My immune system is a nightmare, hystimine levels crazy...and the list goes on. I fight to win in a lose/lose situation but all in all, life is good. I'm always glad when all my hair grows back and hey, I'm still alive aren't I?
After a move to Phoenix 14 months ago I had a reaction to a Lantana bush and a round of steroids have once again packed on a good 20#...so my battle to lose; again, begins....
