Over the past decade or so, my weight crept to an alarmingly 230+(I stopped weighing myself at that point). I managed to drop all the way to 170 by walking and eating right with the pyramid plan by the fda which my doc insisted I do. Over time though, my energy dropped, I was fatigued, and in pain. Let alone gaining weight back. I spent the last 5 years going through the ringer of doctors only to discover that I had fibromyalgia. Nice to know I'm 5th generation and the worst.
So I've tried everything and I'm doing a combination of the ABs diet and a fibro-friendly food plan that my body will tolerate. I hope to be able to jog for 5 miles again one day and atleast obtain my short goal off 170 and 140 by the time my sister's wedding rolls around next year.
I know there will be pain and struggle and frustration but, if it gives me what I need to get where I want to get for myself. I'll do it.
