Things never heard in my family: "Seconds? No thanks, I've had enough," "I'm going to the gym, I'll be back later," and "Hold the gravy and the cheese, please." I come from a family that finds comfort in food. I never learned to exercise and didn't participate in any kind of sports in school (no one wanted to pick me up afterwards). So here I am, pushing 40, diabetic with high blood pressure, aching knees and 150lbs overweight. I Jazzercise 4 times a week and eat vegetarian. The ocean has gone down a foot since I started drinking 100 oz of water a day. Friday Happy Hour and weekend restaurant eating are my weaknesses, but I'm GOING to do this!
