I have always struggled with weight and hit 330lbs in my late 20's; 8 months later I managed to get my weight down to 187 but over the past 30 years allowed it to creep back on.
I find it difficult to lose however have begun a new program and hopefully life style of healthy eating and smaller portions. I started this week and have been averaging 1600 calories per day; this might be extreme but I begin my day with a protein shake, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, dinner, evening snack. Snacks consist of fruit or vegetable, lunch is typically a nice garden salad with homemade vinaigrette, dinner is about 8oz of meat and vegetables (broccoli, peppers, etc; no potato)
I am also on a stationary bike for 10 minutes and weight training machine for 20 minutes daily...not alot but you need to start somewhere
