I'm not going to tell you what I had to eat yesterday for the super bowl party, but it wasn't anything good or in moderation. I'm so tired today, for some reason I couldn't sleep last night. I was just looking at my weight history and noticed that it took me a while to lose weight, but it is quickly rising again. I'm drinking tea today because I am trying to wheen myself off caffine and I figured switching from coffee might make it easier. Now if I could just control my sugar and chocolate cravings!

tea is actually higher in caffiene than coffee.
If you re-read the book, you'll find that if you stick to the protocol, all your cravings will disappear.

Everything that I have found on the internet says there is less caffiene in tea than in coffee. My body is pretty sensitive to caffine and I feel like tea makes me less gittery. The switch in beverage makes it easier for me to let go of coffee. I have to do it slowly. Tomorrow I will use lemon juice in my tea and omit the honey. Hopefully it will taste good!

Yes, its true. There is less caffeine in tea than coffee. I think it's 3/4 less. Regular black teas have less caffeine than green and white teas.

Actually, if one were to "re-read the book", one would see that Ann Louise actually says tea has 1/3 the caffeine compared to coffee. However, even this small amount taxes the liver, making it harder to lose weight. She even recommends avoiding decaf coffee because of the way that it is decaffeinated. But there are organic, swiss water decaf coffees out there. One company that sells them is DeansBeans.com They are dedicated to all organic, free-trade coffee and all there decafs are swiss water.
