back to work tonight so i don't know if i'll get a chance to journal for the next couple of days. seems like all i can do is work and sleep, everything suffers because of my work schedule. but i try to catch up on everything after wednesday. had a little bit of a melt down this afternoon. had the house to myself so did a mini binge :( but i did record and track everything and the damage isn't too bad. i still have 10 points to get me though the night at work and i'll do better tomarrow. i just wonder when and if i'll ever get over the binge eating. today was better than most but i don't have any really terrible things kept around the house. i finished the eating with a giant WW fudge bar and that's only one point. so guess it could have been a whole heck of alot worse. no exercise today, just a lazy day resting for tonight and the next 72 hours. hope we're busy at work tonight, makes the night go faster. and less time to think about how much more i have to go and how slow the weight comes off......i'm just a big baby cry today!~rebecca

I'm a nurse too, and used to work night shift. I put a pair of 3 lb hand weights in my locker, and anytime I was sitting, I would lift those. And while I was sitting and charting, I would push the chair away and do squats or alternate standing with feet on the floor and then up on tiptoes to exercise my legs.

lol.....i do simular exercises when i can squeeze them in. i use a little hand grip, a band, and then do lunges and squats around the nurse's station. and being the charge nurse the staff gives me minimal grief! lol
