had a training session with nick yesterday. i still hate doing any type of ab work out, but am getting better with doing the all over work out, going to the gym, and just moving my body more. and the way it makes the weight shift is really worth all the effort and baby cry that i do. lost 3 pounds last week and i know alot of has to do with the 20 points i put in for exercise. i just wish that my mind would catch up with it. negative thinking is my worst enemy......so my mantra is "i love going to the gym, i love working out!" hopefully if i say it enough. it will come true. of course after i'm done i always feel great, but old habits are hard to break and the i still have to take my work outs like i would have to take a bitter medicine. positive thinking and repetition, that was the theme of the meeting last week, so i'll just have to keep it up, contiune to MAKE myself do it and hope and pray that someday i will "love going to the gym, love working out"!! :)~~~~~~~~~~~~

Way to go on keeping up with your workouts! It is a challenge for me, too. I try to focus on the feeling I will have after I finish my workout to motivate me to start because I always feel so exhilerated afterward. And I have always said I need to put my brain on a diet as well as my body. No matter what milestone weight losses I have achieved in the past, I always felt fat and that I still had so far to go. Then after I've gained it all back and look at pictures of myself at the lower weight I always think, "Wow! I looked so good! I wish I could look like that again!" Why it is so easy to be negative and so hard to be positive, I will never know. But repetition does help ingrain things on us and lord knows I've repeated over and over when it comes to weight loss. This is the time it's going to stick! For all of us!
