Thanks guys. I definitely appreciate your support. I will get it back together eventually. I know weight loss is never linear but I sure never expected 2 pounds. As I said, I knew I had not been staying under 1200 calories but I wouldn’t have expected 2 weeks of even 2000 calorie days to have resulted in 2 pounds. And I have not eaten nearly 2000 calories. Oh well - I now own it!

You probably know this, but permanent weight loss and achieving your goals is best achieved with resistance training. Lean muscle mass burns calories. While what you eat is 80 percent of the equations, exercise is critical in order to speed the metabolism so you do not have to monitor your eating so closely.

Inflammation? l once gained 10 pounds in a week!! I went organic. Organic peppers are expensive so I included grains. Bad idea!

I am really consistent in my diet and activity - I fluctuate about 2 lbs. up and down from week to week. I just think it has to do with body chemistry and the environment - I would be concerned if it went up a few weeks in a row with out a tangible cause.

I think it’s in the air, the weight gain. Me too, heck I was just thinking of bad food choices! You are doing great, slow and steady you’ll get there! ( but really, it’s the air!)
