I'm reading up on this. Electrolytes (sodium, magnesium and potassium) are often underestimated on low-carb diets. ... When entering the induction phase of a Ketogenic Diet (50 grams or less of total carbs - about 20-30 grams of net carbs), most people experience "keto-flu”.Apr 16, 2013 electrolytes include replacing K+ for Na+ I'm reading further. https://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2013/04/16/Keto-flu-and-Sufficient-Intake-of-Electrolytes this talks of Mg++ and K+ deficiencies at beginning phase of 'carb starvation' but not Na++. with our overly processed diet and overabundance of Na++ I seriously doubt anyone would be Na++ deficient with out some absorb turn abnormality.
