Peasy3's Journal, 07 Feb 18

The scale was down again this morning but I'm not going to post it until tomorrow and I am for sure that it is real. I made an amazing batch of oven baked hot wings (marinated the suckers in buttermilk overnight, then baked them at 380 degrees with paprika, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder)last night and had them with a salad. That was my favorite meal since starting this journey. My husband wants to invite a friend that is a fan of wings over to try them. I had my little portioned out pile of 4 and closed up the meal satisfied and happy. My husband cleared the rest of the tray and asked where the 10 more he wanted were :P

I have been waking up hungry every morning (except for the morning after the Superbowl, too much wine incident) and I was wondering if that was a good or a bad thing. I just read that it is a good sign, and it means your body is burning what you ate. I'm always a little nervous of eating too little because I had a bout of anorexia in high school that ruined my metabolism. A normal, rumbly tummy just means you didn't eat so much that it cannot burn it off before you take in your next meal. I love that!
