Does anyone drink infused water? If so, how do you clean the fruit/herb/veg of its potential pesticides?

I drink infused water. I don't clean the fruit. I usually use pineapple chunks or slices I buy in the veggie department at the grocery store or frozen berries. I just put the fruit in the infuser.

The pesticides give it a little zing! But seriously you could prep it the same way as if you were going to eat it. Some people use a vinegar rinse.

Thanks. I was going to put a lemon in a jar of water but realized I needed to clean it somehow.

I was going to use a couple orange slices, but will remove the outer skin or rind so it will just be the inside fruit.

I have heard that you can clean the fruit with baking soda... I have done it. They even sell it in the store for cleaning fruit.
