I had a major set back today. I am a type 2 diabetic, I have been trying very hard to get my blood sugars regulated. As anyone who is battling the weight knows, cravings are the hardest part. So I have given away all my sweet snackies, and refuse to put anything past my lips that will put my blood sugars over the top again. I spent 4 hours in the hospital today trying to get regulated, and was finally able to go home. High blood sugar makes me so tired. can't wait to get up tomorrow morning and get my work out in. Forward I go!!

I’ve been where you are at!🙇🏻‍♀️Your best friend will be having some nuts in the house. Walnuts are especially good or almonds. The fat content will keep the stomach content and the glycemic index even without spiking your sugars. Make sure you are eating plenty of protein while you are trying to drop weight and have your doctor monitor your Metformin and other diabetic meds. They will cause you to crave food. I would suggest you read, “The Obesity Code,” by Dr. Jason Fung or listen to the file on YouTube. Interesting information, especially for diabetics!🙋🏻

Elishasgoal, I was a diabetic up until a month ago! What worked for me was cutting my carbs to under 20 grams a day. Carbs make you hungry! Carbs make you lethargic! I eat chicken, chicken and more chicken! Never skip on your 8 glasses of water a day, all parts of your body need it to survive. Do I hate it, yup do I drink it it, you betcha! I weighed 260 last year, as of 12/31/2017 my weight --- 189. I joined FS September 2017 and got serious and learned so much! I write everything I eat, I preplan everything for the week and journal it. You can go back and make adjustments if you don't eat something or to add something. This is what has helped me, everyone is different. It's how bad you want it. I wanted to keep my legs very bad! Good luck to you get a mindset, and do not waiver. Your life depends on it❤️
