So... my weight loss regime is going on hiatus for a few weeks. I was hospitalized on Wednesday with Appendicitis and had to have my Appendix removed. Right now I am at home working on my recovery and throwing my diet out the window.
My aunt told me that a number of people have developed Appendicitis while on the MediFast diet. Even though I did develop it, I believe it was more because stressed out my already stressed out body and not that the diet was the only reason it happened. I know many people who have done this diet with no ill effect, so don't get too worried if you are on this diet, but do a little research if you are scared.
So, I'm on a break from my diet and my challenges, walking 20 minutes a day and other strenuous activities are out of the question for the next few weeks, but I'm going to record my intake to make sure I'm eating the optimum amount for my recovery.
Wish me a healthy and quick recovery. And I hope everything goes well with everything out there.
