W/o bun, actually not so bad. 1 hot dog, 2 tsp shredded cheese, & less than a tbsp of coney sauce: Carbs=3.60 / Net Carbs=3.35 /Protein=8.89 / Cals=207 I hadn't eaten anything other than some MCT oil since breakfast (10hrs), so I thought "live a little". : )

Up to that point, I actually was WAY below my RDI. I have to work around whatever they serve here (Nursing/Physical Rehabilitaion facility, though I'll be outa here soon). It was either peel/scrape the breading off of some fish squares from the lunch that I skipped or deal with the "coney dog", which would have been too messy to throw in a sandwich bag for another time. It seems that institutional food turns out to actually be helpful sometimes, as it is easier to say "No" if the food is questionable.
