Find a good healthy plan that you can live with the rest of your life or find a good caloric intake that will help you lose but keep you happy. Focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Protein and high fiber foods keep us satiated and helps us lose fat better than any other food groups. If you don't exercise and can, start! Get a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day. Start walking 30 minutes a day. Take an exercise class. Try a new sport. Get some exercise dvds, light hand weights and a mat and make a small home gym. Get out and ride your bike. It takes at least 3 weeks to make a new habit. Keep weight loss expectations realistic. Google "why the scale lies" so you understand water weight fluctuations in your body. Get some fitness magazines and read them to motivate you and help you learn about nutrition and exercise. Good luck!
