I gave in and ate cookies last night. I was doing okay yesterday, but I've been kind of stressed and gave in to it. All I can do about it is do better today. But, today has already started out hard. My son, who's 7, had an outburst this morning because he couldn't find his slippers and they are having PJ day at school. It was already time to be leaving and I helped him search a little, but didn't have time, so I told him to just put his shoes on so we could leave. Well, it was 10 mins. later before he finally got his shoes on, with me having to drag him out of his room crying. So now, I'm sitting here worried that maybe his overreaction to things (which is all the time) is something that needs to get checked out by his doc and see if we need to take him to therapy or something. My mom shoulders have a heavy weight on them today. I just want my kids to be happy, and having this happen this morning was not a good way to start the day.
