Manda_k's Journal, 20 Feb 12

Hello all! This is not something new to me, but in a sense it is. I have been a member only since January to FS, and since then I have lived by the calories in vs calories out motto. Trying to exercise 3 times a week was my goal, recently I have moved up to 5! It becomes addicting. Like I need to do it to ward off anxiety and bad moods! I am quite over weight, and I don't really understand why the weight falls off so slowly when I have completely changed my eating habits and exercise. I went from not watching my eating and just anything I wanted I had and however much. I also didn't exercise. So I thought once I did, things would just start to fall off so to say...but this hasn't happened. I consistently keep losing about 2 lbs per week! I guess I will take it but golly, this is gonna take a really long time!!!

To think that you will get faster results - is not really healthy. And two pounds a week consistently would put you at over a hundred pounds in a year! That's a lot!!! And it's do-able. There are folks here right now doing it!!! So pick your food choices wisely, beef up on your nutrition, and great job on your exercising! Fuel the body and it will support you!
