I need to start recording what I eat. I'm having trouble trying to remember what I ate yesterday.
Breakfast: Grape Nuts with 1 banana and lactaid milk Lunch: 5 pieces of nigiri sushi, 1 california roll, 1 tempura fried shrimp, salad with ginger dressing, 2 peppermint hard candies Supper: Mixed salad greens with 1 slice bacon, 2 whole eggs (deviled), tomato slice, fresh slice of mozzarella, aioli dressing, 1 small piece of kitkat candy. Having this for supper was a victory because we debated going to the movies and having buttered popcorn for supper instead.
I ordered a book on Amazon called "21-Day Sugar Detox." I know my problem is sugars and carbs. Just cutting down on my daily dessert consumption has helped me feel better, and I haven't even cut out ALL sugars yet.
Mr C's doc told him he has to lose 10% of his body weight immediately or he goes on meds for high BP. That's 22 pounds. So he's finally motivated, although the day he found out (Thursday), he got pizza and a Coke for supper as his last meal before having to diet. I had 3 pieces of that pizza, but passed on the Coke.
For my activity today, I'm taking our dog to the park and then giving him a bath later.
I feel pretty good this morning after a decent 7.5 hrs of sleep. I've actually been getting to bed earlier, falling asleep before 1am, and getting about 7 hrs of sleep nightly - which is a huge difference for me. I used to work late into the night (past 1am) and get only 6 hours or less.
