I give up trying to figure out this weight loss thing. I was stuck on a plateau and couldn't get off it. And I did not expect to lose weight yesterday; not only was it a low-exercise day (crunches and pushups only, no cardio) but my son got engaged so we took them out for a nice dinner. I didn't eat badly (mixed grill) but did have bread and potatoes, and a couple of beers. And yet I dropped 1.4 lbs.
