So, I slipped up and had a choc digestive which my daughter gave me with a cup of tea .. didn't even think about it until I'd munched it! At some stage I'm gonna have to tell my family I've started to diet "AGAIN", but at the moment I feel they've heard it all before and I'm only setting myself up to fail
( I also ate 1/4 burger bun so my partner wasn't suspicious) . But he's put on weight and would sabotage my efforts by buying me chocolate/nuts/rose/dominoes, as that's what's happened before and I'm definitely not strong enough to resist yet
Have a great day fs friends

If you cut out processed food/sugar you don't need to say that you're on a diet. The papers have been full of how it causes everything from alzheimers to ingrowing toenails (I exaggerate) so you just start to lecture them on how evil sugar is - it's not a diet!! (I find this bores the pants of people and they leave you alone in case you start again - dieting they feel they can lecture you, especially if you've tried and failed like I have)

If someone asks, just tell them you've dieted enough to know that certain foods just don't sit well with you. For example, bread makes you feel bloaty, sick, etc., so for now you're just choosing to not to eat them.
