I wish I could just chuck my scale out the window! I feel like its a ball and chain. I keep weighing myself daily and I don't want to, its like I HAVE to. I "only" lost half a pound in 2 days. I should be happy, but its like I need to see more...grrr

Many people on here have had to take the batteries out of the scale, or hide your scale in your attic (make it hard to get to) or even had their spouses hide the scale. I was a multiple daily weigher for quite awhile, but the more weight I lost the less I started to weigh in...Try tracking your results by tape measure instead of scale...?

I've felt the pull of the scale too. At first it was fun to see and note the changes but it can be addicting. When the ups and downs are tied to self image its really tough to deal with the fluctuations. One tidbit that helps me is that the body has a 4 lb water variance depending on soooo many factors that are beyond our control. Its useless to beat ourselves up if we're confident that we've done everything right that we can control. And if we aren't then there's room for improvement!

Thanks guys. I did lose a ton of weight in one week..so I should be nice to my poor "little" body, its probably wondering what the heck is going on! I didn't let my little stall devastate me this time...for some reason this diet feels different...not like a DIET. More like a LIFESTYLE change!
