I understand. Any time you go under it can be a scary process. You'll be surrounded by people doing their darndest to keep you alive, safe and well.

Mine was removed in 1996 after a few years of intensely painful attacks. I haven't missed it one bit! The surgery was an easy one as surgery goes, as long as they can do it with a laparoscope. I had mine done on Wednesday and went back to work on Monday. Sore of course, but not bad. Best of luck to you! Being fearful is normal, surgery is only minor if it is being done on someone else!

It's always scary; of course you feel that way. A bunch of strangers are taking a knife to you! It's a big leap of trust and faith.

Just remember: now you will have the same scar that Marilyn Monroe had!

Good Luck and I will keep you in my prayers. Here's to hoping that you will have it done by a laparoscopic procedure. It IS scary - but you have a bunch of us cheering for you! <hugs>
