Hey...it was Mother's Day and I let myself enjoy the day! But...I am really motivated to see 134 on the scale by this weekend. Back on track with no deviations :)

I agree, Pandasmom! My daughter treated me to a fabulous Mother's Day brunch at a local winery. I kept my proportions good...but I did indulge in many items I would never touch in my day to day. Where my downfall was is that I tried not to eat anything else the rest of the day and stayed up way too late and got super hungry. I didn't eat enough protein at all during brunch. It is good to see how all those carbs weren't filling enough to last. I can't remember the last time I ate a nighttime meal/snack. I honestly should have just gone to bed, but I ended up eating instead. That won't happen again and I know that whole day was an exception to my lifestyle and not the norm for sure!

Oh and happy day...I did 70# squats! I really have a mental block on lifting heavy even though I desperately want to. I am much stronger on my conviction to follow my diet. So I am challenging myself to push harder everytime at the gym. I started squats with just the bar - 45# so 70# makes me feel happy with that improvement!

Yeah...I think you don't need to beat yourself up about it...be kind to yourself...allow yourself to indulge once in a while...spontaneity is a good thing! The bigger picture of your intentions will help set you straight always...^^
