Dear Body,

We're having pizza. Just deal with it. You're not going to die from eating two slices of sausage, onion & mushroom pizza. Just count it in our food diary and continue. Mr. Guilt is not invited to this party, and Mrs. Naggy-Butt has already been removed from the premises.

Good for you. I had a chili dog for lunch while I was out with a friend and I'M NOT ASHAMED OF IT!! I counted it and I'm going to have a big salad for dinner.

I can eat a whole Little Caesar's pepperoni hot and ready, but I scrape the toppings and chunk the crust.

Pizza just ain't the same without the crust/dough! So Philmck - how do you calculate/log the pizza without it? Mrs. Naggy Butt and Mr. Guilt do tend to always show up - especially when temptation strikes. They don't leave those pizza parties so easily. Our super heroes - "Will Power" and "Way to Go" (A.K.A.> Weigh to Go) need to come to our rescue more often. Thank God we can always start over or adjust so we are not doomed forever!

I figure about a cup of cheese, and that's really where the bulk of the calories will come from, Little Caesars usually doesn't over-do the pepperoni, might be a dozen slices on a whole pizza, that might come up to four ounces, and of course the tomato sauce. I usually don't log it as a whole awful lot.

Oh my goodness gracious me ... DELICIOUSNESS. And I actually removed some of the crust. I ate mindfully, to be truthful - I focused on how my food was created, and ... well, this bit sucks a bit because my Virgo self butted into my brain's private conversation and reminded me that it is incredibly processed and my naughty body won't like me in the morning. Frankly, when my Virgo side comes into play she's a royal bitch and we sometimes just don't get along. Because the bitch is always right. :D ;) I love you folks - you always lift me up and remind me to be the authentic me. xxx
