Following very well for the past 4 days, and I'm feeling pretty good about all of my choices. The only "oops" I've had so far is last night my boyfriend cooked a fabulous meal of chicken breasts with pepperoni rolled inside, covered with spaghetti sauce (he picked the best he could find, which is Mid's brand with no sugar), ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. It was SO GOOD but the 1/4 cup of sauce on mine knocked me right out of Ketosis this morning. UGH! I won't make that mistake again until I'm further into this. Regardless, it was a very good meal and I really enjoyed it. It was completely on plan, but that sauce was a bugger. :(
I'm also dealing with a bulged disc and the pain has been unbearable for 4 months. FINALLY getting steroid/pain injections beginning next Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to walk more than 25 feet without pain so I can start dropping weight a bit quicker. I'd love to be pain-free again, and I'd love to start speed-walking again.
