Monday, November 9, 2009: Not weighing today. Last night I foolishly allowed myself two glasses of plum wine at sushi, thinking that it was just 8 or so points. But I forgot about my inhibitions being lowered. I'm not used to drinking; so I ordered just a few too many items, dipped into my husband's mayonnaise-filled dish, and then dipped into my son's goody bag from the birthday party he went to. And up to the evening, I had been really good, good enough to allow what I thought was going to be a minor indulgence with the wine. Well, it was fun. But I won't repeat the experiment.
My daily 5:
I just finished my bills. (Hate doing them. And they're done!)
I decided to have my 9 year old's birthday party at a play place instead of at home, and I'm very relieved that the burden I'd created for myself is lifted.
We're going to Hawaii soon. I can't wait!
I'm inspired to start a new painting.
I've been enjoying shopping for a new couch and/or carpet for family room. It's fun to keep shopping and imagining all the possibilities. (But knowing me, I'll probably put off actually buying something for quite some time.)
I love my hubby, kids, parents, father-in-law, sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, best girlfriend, and anyone else I love whom I've forgotten to mention. (I love to love!) :)
