And another thingy.

I do 30 mins on the treadmill each and every day. I don't miss a day because I'm essentially a lazy ass, and I know myself well enough to realize that if I miss one day it'll quickly lead to 2 days, and then 3 days, and you know how this goes.

So, for some reason I thought it would be a good idea for our furbaby (an 80 lb golden lab who thinks she's 9 lbs and we don't have the heart to tell her she's not ... ) sat close to Mommy to keep her company. Also it reinforces the idea that Mommy Knows Everything and hence doggy can't go hunting for spare tissues (she loves tissues. I have no idea why) without getting caught.

So what happens?

Mommy gets all hot and sweaty. Mommy sooo tired. Mommy pats self on back.

Doggie expends exactly zero energy and SHE gets a treat at the end of the workout.

How on earth did that happen?! :D

Furbaby is smarter than you think ;-) Furbaby is NOBODY'S fool. Who needs tissues when you can get a treat for doing absolutely nothing! Oh, and probably 75% of our dogs over time have gone after tissues. Furbabys also seem to have body image issues. Every BIG one we've had thinks they're a 10 lb lap dog. The current 12 lb doxie thinks she's a German Shepard and completely invincible.

You are SO funny! I love the way you write. I have the opposite--a miniature Yorkie who weighs all of five pounds and who THINKS he's huge and ferocious. So goofy. But he's my baby and I love him.
