I've been enjoying summer and not worrying about the scale too much. I've hovered over 69kg and back and still weighing three days a week just because it's part of my routine, but I'll have to concentrate and track a bit better if I really want to lose these last 2-3 kilograms.

At the moment, I'm just enjoying some outdoor activities, the odd ice cream and of course potato salad must be had 'cos it's summer! And I found some cheap SA white wines at Lidl that remind me of home, so I'm enjoying a glass or two on weekends as well.

My step count is between 6-8k daily average for the past few weeks, and water intake has been good. Also been drinking green tea and rooibos rather than coffee. And including things like a tablespoon each of ground flax and ACV daily, I think, has helped to keep my blood pressure normal. Trying to add them where I can, but a favourite is in my oats with soya yoghurt and fruit.

I'm off to a monthly morning networking event today and then a walk with a friend through the park in this glorious sunshine afterwards. And then this weekend there's a food fair in another local park so I'll get some lunch there and enjoy some of the live music.

Good for you on the coffee. I don't know that I could give it up myself, but I seriously need to scale back at least the caffeinated stuff
