~ * Happy Weekend! * ~ I discovered that YES, you can cook lentils in a rice cooker!! I used 1 cup of lentils to 2.5 cups of water and cooked on the plain rice setting for 30 - 45 minutes. I didn't pay attention to the time I started the cooking process, as I trusted the cooker to do its thing. oops LoL It seemed to be taking longer than the normal 30 minute rice timing, so I started checking the water amount and lentil firmness after what I think was about 35 minutes of cooking. As soon as all the water was gone, I shut the machine off and let it steam for about 5 more minutes. Lentil perfection!
