Today is one of those days....anxiety levels high....leads to pity party.....leads to over eating.

So I got up early and did all my walking as I won't be able to do the rest this evening.

I will not succumb to my usual decline into eating....looking forward to my orders arriving from Asos tomorrow....I'm dealing with one habit at a time......

I am gearing myself to rewards based eating. Since I know now pretty much what my spend amount should be for my RDI, I attach a cost to each calorie of 0.5p per calorie. So if I eat say 200 calories less each day I set aside £1 to spend later. I don't make the cost too high because there is more incentive to loose a safe amount. Each calorie saved can be used for an end of the month treat, or saved towards new clothing later. :) Keeping a positive mental attitude is the hardest thing to do, and anything that helps you do that is good, however I don't believe immediate retail therapy will help, only the promise of the retail therapy later.

That's a really good idea Mindful_Body! I usually set myself weight goals for special non-food treats....but today I'm going through on of life's trials and am trying not to turn to food and figured the retail stuff can always be returned...unlike cake that has been consumed lol
