I have been snacking with my daughter and my husband all week. I also drank some wine and had margaritas, which adds the pounds so quickly. It’s been a stressful and exhausting week on all of us. I knew what I was doing. I was self-soothing in an unhealthy way. I’m not beating myself up because I know what I need to do to get back on track. Besides, my tighter jeans are a daily nuisance reminding me to get back on the healthy trail! 😉
As we support our daughter for her upcoming divorce court hearing, she has had days of crying and needing a mama’s loving presence. Sometimes that means listening to her at midnight when I usually go to bed at 10pm. Sometimes it means having a glass of wine and eating popcorn on the couch instead of doing chores. Sometimes it means putting on some music and dancing together just to add a little joy. 💃💃🕺👶🏻 So, although the weight gain is a bit of a drag, it’s been a very bonding time for each of us. Happy Easter everyone. He has risen!
