Good morning, FS!
I've decided to dig into another book today "The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living". I guess I should have read it before "The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance", but I think I had the just of it anyway. Maybe I'll find something that I haven't already read in there...lol.
Here's to continuing to learn new things! Cheers *raises BPC*

Note to self: It is prudent to increase salt intake 1-2 grams when following a ketogenic diet. This will help relieve constipation and prevent dehydration, being that a LC diet with <50 carbs a day is a natural diuretic.

Let us know if you find something revolutionary. I may want to read it.

@M. Mitchell, I definitely recommend the reading of the book. It goes into deep depth about new research on cholesterol, triglycerides, insulin resistance, metabolic disorders, etc.. Loved this fact: "An increase in fasting triglycerides levels is an early sign that your body is struggling to metabolize carbohydrates."

"The truth is that saturated fats only become problematic when they accumulate. And the guilty party for saturated fat accumulation, in most cases, is dietary carbohydrate. Yes; dietary intake of carbohydrate-not saturated fat- is the major driver of plasma levels of saturated fat."

"The higher your triglycerides and/or the lower your HDL-C, the greater your degree of insulin resistance."
