you know what I was so tempted!! but I couldn't because it would push my calories way over over there's no way I couldn't stick to 1 teaspoon. I was going to make a garlic and herb dip from yogart but thought having a lazy day why make a easy meal complicated 😅

Lea, try giving yourself a weekly calorie allowance rather than daily, think you’ll find it more flexible

It works best for me to do it daily. I plan my meals a week in advance but it depends on the day how many additions I can have like sauces and extra cheese. I work of TDEE So depending how much exercise I do daily I adjust. I can eat quite a lot and fit in a few rums pretty much everyday I can eat around 2100 calories which is alot but those days I swim for 30 minutes, use my exercise bike for hour and a half and do 10k steps. Days like today is lazy day no exercise so I bring my calorie intake down and make a few sacrifices. As long as I'm not hungry by eating the right foods then I csn avoid temptations my body doesn't really need

My TDEE is 2100 cals. On quiet days where I’m not as active I do the same as you, reduce my caloric intake. I do strength training 3 times a week, on those days I usually hit my daily limit and sometimes slightly above. But I think it’s all about balance don’t you think??

Yeah I 100% agree I still don't know if I am getting it right but the scales are moving and my shape is going down and people are noticing so what more could I ask for and i guess i have it correct if that is the result. Weekends are harder as it's always hard to monitor the alcohol which can sabotage easily. I've not been that well this past week and ate more and exercised less to give my body a break and still lost 1lb. I look back at when I stated fat secret and omg i barely ate and its so important its your fuel its about making the right choices. I started back on it again fully 7th Feb and making progress every week. Give your body what it needs, protein, fibre, don't deny your treats but in moderation. It has to be a lifestyle change and not feel like a diet or restricted. I'm not expert but it seems to be working its magic. I'll post a graph in a bit of a bit of my journey as i took some time out.. and the gain why I couldn't come back but to give a bit of an insight to how my journey has been since I started FS in 2022

I am the same I just my calories as tdee is I can't think of the right way to put it but calculated in how active you are and trying to eat more amd exercise more to cover the damage only results in a burnout? Balance i totally agree is essential when it comes to TDEE
