Not hungry from 7-9 a.m.; just checking e-mail, Facebook, doing laundry, drinking decaf coffee. Plan to take my 1st glucose reading w/ stepdaughter's glucometer this morning. Gotta understand it a little beforehand, though. Downloaded glucometer's owner's manual online & read enough, experimented with it enough to do a reading on myself. B4 eating a little oatmeal with some strawberries topped w/ 2% milk, it read 124 based on 70-somethings, "the diabetes level" my doc mentioned. I'll retest around noon or 1 pm (within 2 hours of eating).
