I love these kind of posts also. Pictures are so rewarding and encouraging for others. Hey look, you beheaded yourself in the first two pics and shared your pretty face with us on the latest one!!! That’s a NSV for sure🥰

Very interesting comparing the 2 photos at the same weight. It's not all about weight loss. You are proof of that.

Interesting, same weight but different body composition, it is more important to gain muscle and lose fat in a healthy way than the weight itself, Excellent work :)

Yes! You are living proof of this. Thanks for posting pics to inspire.

Totally, what others have said - the number on the scale means very little, in the end. It's more what you are made of

Yearofhealth2023 haha thanks I just couldn't get all 3 pics next to each other without weird spacing and shrinking them I don't mind sharing the full pics on here I just make sure to not do it often last time I posted my before picture was 3 months ago it is weird looking that far back though because it's just so far from who I am now. thankfullymy kids don't even remember me the way I used to be. I have shown them pictures from years ago when I wa my heaviest and they dont even think it's me

MorticiaAddams thank you those are definitely my favorite type of comparison shots. I'm happy that I took so many progress pictures during my initial weigh loss that now I can go back and compare them to now.

Shark3000 yes body composition is far more important than the scale number and I will admit when I started here all I cared about was the scale and how low could my calories be and how much could I walk to make the scale drop. Still can't believe I got all the way down to 148 lbs before I started my path back up the scale. My hope is that I will need up around 163 lbs after the cut we will see what happens.

Otb you know what’s an interesting insight i just had? I HATED having my pic taken during my obesity era. For the obvious reasons of vanity (or denial). And these days? Go right ahead. Snap away.

Yearofhealth2023 🤣 so true the pics of me from my obese days are few and far between! I've posted a few on here but I really don't have that many when I do see them I'm in a bit of disbelief and there's lots of shame that rushes through my head then anger because I know how I got that way ohh well can only move forward from here

Otb i had a friend say to me the other day something like, “aren’t you so proud of yourself.” I thought about it and replied, “no, im pissed off at myself that i gave up when my lungs got sick and just allowed this to happen. Where was my fight? 8 years of feeling horrible.” I bet you can relate.
