Well, I've been keeping up with exercise and my new eating habits and I finally broke the "60's" barrier! 168 tomorrow? :D The first night of my new exercise regime I actually worked out for an hour and 10 minutes. I was also distracted by watching 'House' while I was working out, so it didn't even seem as bad as I thought it would be, lol Hopefully things will keep on a roll until I reach the next barrier...the 50's! :)

I've also been drinking more hot green tea. I heard once that cold water is actually not always good to drink. It congeals the fat in your body...makes a lot of sense. Maybe that's why Chinese and Japanese cultures drink hot tea with all their meals, eat lots of carbs and fat and still stay skinny - well, until we North Americans introduced them to American Fast Food, that is! lol.

What's been stopping you from staying on the diet? Try to think back to what caused you to start eating bad again and try to tackle the problem. Also I find calling it a "diet" makes it seem like you're sacrificing so much. I look at it as a new lifestyle change. Instead of saying to myself "I'm going to go on a diet", I say "I'm going to change the way I eat". That way I feel more in control of my eating habits and life rather than feel like - I'm allowed this, or not allowed this. I find great recipes that are acceptable and that are things I would eat even if I wasn't on a diet. I really don't feel like I'm dieting at all, cause I make all the choices and get to eat things I think are yummy! :)

I don't know about the cold water part but the green tea is considered very healthy in many parts of Asia. It's definitely a good habit. Congrats on getting into the 160s and keep up the good work!
