I started yesterday off feeling motivated. I did a couple of loads of laundry. Then I decided to get some of my cold weather clothes out of the cedar chest & pack away some Summer clothes.
When I finished, I was feeling hungry so fixed myself a snack plate for lunch....hummus, avocado, cheddar slices, crackers, pickles & cheese straws. I watched the latest episode of The Golden Batchelor while I ate. I've never watched a single episode of the Batchelor before, but this season intrigued me 😏 It was a little earlier than I usually eat lunch. Afterwards, I lost motivation to do anything else constructive. And I got the munchies. I tried to reign myself in but ended up eating a pack of Welch's fruit snacks, a Caramel Cappuccino, some Chex mix & almonds. I did measure & log everything.
After that I figured I better make something healthy for dinner. I hadn't planned anything, so made a big salad with some shredded chicken breast on top I had leftover from the night before.
Today, I made bacon & eggs for breakfast. Teddy actually let me sleep in a little this morning. I figured a filling breakfast would hold me out longer...and it did. Before I got to feeling lazy again, I made a rub for a pork butt to slow roast for dinner tonight. I threw our comforter in to wash. Then, I spent some time deleting emails. I'm awful about doing it & they add up so quickly! I needed to charge my Ipod for use at the Gym tomorrow. I stream Pandora from my phone while I'm on the treadmill then listen to playlists on my Ipod while I'm working out.
Need to go check on the comforter in the dryer. The Pork Butt is in the oven. I followed a recipe for the rub...hope it turns out as tasty as it sounded 😋
