Thanks y'all. My original goal was 150, but I'm really hoping to reach 145 some day. Just being in the 140s...a weight range I never imagined I'd ever see again...will be a dream come true!
To all of those just starting out on their diet journey, or those thinking about it, do it! You can achieve your dreams with perserverance. Just remember, it's not all downhill; there will be bumps in the road, and sometimes you'll have to swirve to avoid potholes, but keep your eyes on the road (so to speak). Stay focused on your goal...at every meal...anytime you step on the scale...every time you think 'I failed so I might as well quit.' You can succeed. You just have to go for it!
