I can't quite figure out how to increase my protein content while decreasing my fat content. Does that pretty much mean meats are out and I have to get most high protein content from powders & bars? Any suggestions?

Fat-free cheese and egg whites are protein. My brother-in-law told me that it was cheaper to buy real eggs and toss the yolks than to buy the egg mixes in the boxes. I didn't check it, but he is cheap so I believe him. Also, beans will add protein without as much fat as meat. Like: tofu, edamame, soy beans, black beans, lentils, kidney beans, etc. Good Luck!
