Another rice bowl, this time with pork chops! This one clocks in at 1399 calories and almost 75g of protein! Next step for me is to cut my rice portion in half, even though jasmine rice is my favorite.

Well, you need carbs for energy. Most people think carbs are not good. Complex carbs are very much needed in a daily diet. Jasmine rice is a great complex carb to eat. My suggestion, do not cut your rice in half. Enjoy your carbs! 👍

@bgwines Actually, I'm cutting the portion down because the carbs to calories ratio is REALLY high, which throws my macro balance off. My goal is 40% protein, but that's a touch hard to do with carbs consuming the majority of my calories for the day. Jasmine rice is a really great complex carb, don't get me wrong... but do understand that this bowl contains 2 servings, not one. Portion control will be beneficial to me overall. ☺️
