I've only worked one day this week so far and I'm ready for the weekend. It wasn't a bad day, I'm just tired and feeling lazy I guess. Maybe just a weekend with nothing going on would be good, but that won't be this coming weekend either. Oh well, it could be worse, at least I have a job, a loving family, and a 3 day weekend next week. :) Just keep moving forward.
I went for a walk/run last night. It was mostly a walk because it's been so long since I've run I was having a hard time with side aches. Maybe I'll get another run in tomorrow, if not it will be Saturday. I'm going to try to get a short strength workout in tonight. I just can't let the couch pull me in, I have to keep moving until the workout. My hubby works this evening, so it's going to have to be an after dinner workout and those are hard for me to stay motivated for.
My diet is going okay. Today I took a break from a salad and I'm splurging on an egg salad sandwich. Gluten free bread makes for a tiny sandwich. Tomorrow I'm going out for lunch with the other office ladies and I'm really hoping the menu I found online is correct so I can get a decent salad and just have to omit a few things, and if they let me use my own dressing it will be good. That will be my first meal out while on my diet, so it could be interesting. It's going to be so tempting to order something else, but I'm about halfway through the elimination phase, I am not starting over now.
I hope everyone has a great hump day!!
