A new week is beginning, planning to make it a good one!
Last week was a little productive. I went to the gym once, walked 10 min on the treadmill and did 20 min in the pool.
My weight has stayed pretty much the same this week, which I am happy to see. I don't mind losing slowly but I hate to have to go back and lose the same weight over again. I did go thru a struggle this week, obsessing over losing and not being able to curb my eating. It is a normal occurrence for me, but was hoping to not get triggered this time. I stepped back for a couple of days and feel better now.
This week's plans are : Daily weigh-ins Menu plans and prep as I can Gym for treadmill and pool MWF TuTh Home weights and recumbent Continue to work my sleep program (7 hr. average daily)
I finally chose my "word" for the year. Took me long enough. ;-) My word is "perseverance". When looking for a different book, I found a book by Julia Cameron that sounded interesting. When I sat down to look at it, I found that the title included ... The Art of Perseverance. Sounds like a plan. ;-)
This week's first soup is a Tuscan sausage, bean, and kale soup. It is yummy and am looking forward to lunch all week. My son-in-law made me a loaf of whole wheat bread and it is delicious with the soup.
It has been really nice this week so I am hoping to get some sun time.
Vitals are mostly good. Blood pressure is still too high.
Perseverance ... the name of the game !
