Yesterday wasn't a great day, but today I'm hopeful I can eat fewer calories to make up for the slip up. I did already get in a 3 mile run and then walked the dog, so I'm off to a good start.
One of my downfalls of yesterday was that I didn't plan my day. I had been planning my meals each day in the morning while I drink my coffee. That way, I know what I'm eating, I know when I'm eating, and I'm on track. Yesterday I didn't do that, was stumped and hungry at lunch, and ate off the schedule because I wasn't prepared.
Dieting isn't about will power. It's about preparation.
Tomorrow is the 4th of July. It's also weigh in day. I'm hoping for a decent loss and then I'm going to celebrate with a margarita or a summer shandy.
Today my meals are planned completely, including the beer I want to have at dinner. I hope that makes for a more successful day.
