It's been a busy week. I took my aunt to the doctor on Tuesday and she goes in for surgery next Wednesday. Yesterday I took the day off work because as I kept going over the list of things I needed to do for myself I knew I'd be so stressed about not getting things done that I would blow up somewhere along the line. I got almost everything done that I wanted and managed to get a little shopping done for my aunt and help watch my dad while my mom went for an appointment. I feel much better today, less stressed.

Now, my eating for the last couple of days. Tuesday I ate okay, we didn't get home until 7, but even with the urge to do drive thru I stuck to my guns and went home and ate there. Then yesterday I ate drive thru twice. My hubby was a bad influence at lunch and my kids were my excuse for dinner. It was 7 when we were on our way home and they were starving, so they talked me into it. So, today I'm going to try to do better and get a workout in this evening. Dinner is going to be carby and not calorie friendly, but if I do a workout and don't snack excessively this evening I should be okay. I just have to keep winning more battles than I lose.

Well I'm going to keep getting through my busy week. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!! It's almost Friday everybody! :)

The saying with AA and other groups is one day at a time. For me, it may be hour to hour and at times, minute to minute. It's a tough trip.

Yep, sometimes each hour is a struggle, but winning those battles feels much better than losing. I recorded my good day and bad day in hopes that I can look at those to remember how easy it is to go over when you go through the drive thru, and how much better it can be when you resist. And I didn't snack much yesterday, but there was some chocolate frosting that made it's way into my mouth that I had forgotten about. I recorded it though and it's going to be my lesson day. :)
