What a struggle! Not the staying on track eating wise but the stubbornness of the scales to shift. After a review with my doctor, it was reiterated that the medication I'm on not only causes weight gain but also makes it very difficult to shift. I content myself, somewhat, with eating healthily.

Well said @I will win. Take your diet for example, very balanced, and you are getting good results. Your macros are about 45% carbs 35% protein, and 20% fat. Any diet with one of your macros are over 50% ( such as high fat diet with 70% fat) seems extreme to me.

What like sweet potatoes? Yes they are paleo. Perhaps you could fry them in coconut oil :-O
