Time for a restart. I've been miserable and sick for over a week. Unfortunately, still had my appetite and food became a comfort. My husband even made an enormous amount of chocolate peanut butter cookies to make me feel better. Self control? I don't know her. Finally feeling better and stepped on the scale for the first time today. Ouch, but maybe it'll help me get over the plateau I was stuck on. Feeling positive despite this gain, probably because I can take a deep breathe without coughing up a lung.

Thanks everyone. I have a lingering cough and runny nose but am soo much better. I'm not letting this get me down. When I was feeling so terrible, those cookies really did comfort me.
