Learned an important thing about myself and food this week. I think I always knew it, but it was CRYSTAL clear this time. What did I learn? Stress makes me crave sugar! I know, duh, right? Well, I've been battling those cravings all week, sometimes making much better choices than others. But this is an important thing to know moving forward. Now I just need to channel that into something else, or find an acceptable means of quenching that craving. I find I have to be careful with sweets. It doesn't help that the schedule has not allowed my usual grocery run, so the house was not adequately prepared with fruits and veggies to help me find better choices....no excuse, just reality. Still hangin in and looking forward to getting back into the groove I was in late last summer.
