ktfitzgerald's Journal, 25 May 11

I’ve been counting my calories for 3 years now and exercising for the last 3 months to rid myself of the 20 pounds I gained in my 30’s. Now I’m only ½” from my ultimate goal size where my body fat percentage will be 20. At the rate I’ve been going I should reach that in another few weeks. So I’ve been wondering what happens when I get there; what’s the strategy is for staying there.

So, I asked my trainer. His answer? Two simple words - I couldn’t believe it. He said “Eat More!”

Does the prospect of this scare anyone else besides me?

It more frequently with smaller meals...It keeps your metabolism up. Plus, if you eat at the same time everyday, your body will respond. good luck!

I did weight watchers off and on for ten years, and that is the answer. Once you get to your goal weight (which I never did) you eat more to maintain that weight. I don't think that'll be a challenge for me.
